On March 24, 2003, Drummond murdered three-month-old Jiyen Dent, Jr. at his home in Youngstown. Drummond incorrectly believed Jiyen's father was involved in the 1998 murder of one of Drummond's fellow gang members. Drummond, 25, and an accomplice, Wayne Gilliam, 21, drove to the Dent household.
