Description

This auction is for a greeting card from Michigan murderer Susan Brown. In 2003 Brown stabbed her husband to death. She was 30 weeks pregnant at the time. The couple were in the midst of a divorce. She would be arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment. Susan Brown maintains her innocence, stating the homicide was in self-defense.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Thanksgiving card is signed, "Susan," with her name, prison number, and address written on the left side. You don't see too many Thanksgiving styled greeting cards around. This one appears to be handmade. It has a small charm like heart-shaped pendant on the front that reads, "Made with love." The card itself doesn't look like it was cut with a machine, but rather by hand. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 10/17/2012 with five lines of address written in Brown's hand. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
