This auction is for a letter from executed Florida serial killer Gerald Eugene Stano (9/12/1951 – 3/23/1998). Between 1969 and 1980, Gerald Stano is believed to have killed at least 41 women in Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. 41 was the number of victims he confessed to. His method of murder varied. An interesting fact is that none of his victims appeared to be raped. He ended up being convicted of 22 murders, although law enforcement claims the number could be as high as 80. Gerald Stano was executed in Florida's electric chair on 3/23/1998. He was 46.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 4/4/1995, and signed, "Jerry." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 4/5/1995.
